A single split system consists of one indoor unit that’s connected to one outdoor unit and is best for the efficient heating or cooling of smaller spaces.
In comparison, multi-split systems are one outdoor unit that’s connected to various indoor units. These allow more temperature control for different rooms or zones, offering greater flexibility and more energy savings — perfect for larger spaces.
A single outdoor unit can connect multiple indoor units that are wall-mounted, if required, via refrigeration lines running between them. It operates without a complex ducted system and absorbs heat from the indoor air, releases it outside and cools warm air from outside to chill the air inside.
